Framed with glass

For works on paper

All paintings on paper need additional protection so are are framed under glass with a white PH neutral mount set in a simple white fibreboard and paper foil frame

Ready to hang: Framing includes a board backing and a crocodile plates fitting, ready for you to hang. These smaller works can be hung from a single wall fitting (not included)

St Ives Wooden Frame

For paintings on board

My smaller paintings are set in a white St Ives style frame typically 45mm wide. Our St Ives frame is white painted wood that adds a contemporary feel to your decor

The 'St Ives' term originates from the 1950's where, in St Ives, Cornwall many local artists framed their artwork in this style

Ready to hang: Frames include hanging fixtures (plates and cord) fully fitted and ready for you to hang. We recommend hanging larger paintings over 600mm wide on two wall fittings (not included), to ensure the painting can hang well and not swing as it might on a single fixing

Wooden Floating Frame

For paintings on canvas

Large canvases can be hung unframed or framed

The recommended frame for my canvases is often a modern floating frame, as this allows the painting some space, whilst creating a comfortable distinction between painting and wall

The width of a floating frame when viewed head-on is typically15mm, with a 15mm shadow gap between the painting and frame. The shadow gap will vary from painting to painting as the framer will make and fit the frame for each painting and will adjust the gap to suit the size and style of painting

Ready to hang: Frames include hanging fixtures (plates and cord) fully fitted and ready for you to hang. We recommend hanging larger paintings over 600mm wide on two wall fittings (not included), to ensure the painting can hang well and not swing as it might on a single fixing
