I live in Devon and love painting seascapes and landscapes, inspired by the coastlines of Devon and Somerset and views of local farmland and the Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks

Sketching, drawing and photographing whilst out walking, I then use the work as reference for larger abstract works in acrylic or oil plus, pencil or ink markings in my “old piggery” studio

My large seascapes capture the sense of movement and the power of the sea; my smaller landscapes reflect the moody skies and scenes across local farmland and the moors
